GlycoErase™ SIGLEC6 knockout HepG2 cell line is a HepG2 cell line where SIGLEC6 expression has been eliminated. SIGLEC6 is a transmembrane receptor that binds sialyl-TN glycans and leptin, with expression upregulated in the placenta during preeclampsia. This knockout HepG2 system provides a liver-derived platform to study glycan recognition, leptin-mediated signaling, and reproductive or metabolic biology, supporting applications in biomarker identification, metabolic disease research, and translational drug studies.
