The GlycoSens™ Malate Dehydrogenase (MDH) Assay Kit offers an advanced quantitative methodology for evaluating malate dehydrogenase concentration with high specificity. Designed to minimize matrix background interference, this kit facilitates high-throughput scientific profiling and consistent experimental turnaround.
The system measures chromatic product formation derived from target malate dehydrogenase activity. Absorbance changes tracked at optimal wavelengths allow precise quantitative determination of MDH levels.
Detection Time
Within 1 hour
Detection Wavelength
340 nm
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
The presence and activity of malate dehydrogenase (MDH) are closely linked to overall organismal health. By mediating the transfer of electrons, it strictly regulates intermediate metabolic fluxes. Consequently, investigating its functional state is crucial for identifying novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets.
Application
Ideal for investigating malate dehydrogenase (MDH) activity and metabolic turnover during natural product research, growth factor signaling, and developmental morphogenesis studies.
Key Features & Advantages
Stable Signal Output; Excellent Reproducibility; Minimized Interference
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
