Product Type
Oxidation and Antioxidant Series
Target
POD
Kit Components
Reaction Buffer; Specific Substrate; Standard; Reaction Stop Solution
Target peroxidase (POD) in samples undergoes specific enzymatic conversion or chromatic reaction, resulting in a distinct optical absorbance change monitored spectrophotometrically. The variation in absorbance intensity directly correlates with the concentration of target POD.
Detection Time
Within 1 hour
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Found widely across biological samples, peroxidase (POD) is crucial for maintaining systemic homeostasis. It accelerates targeted redox reactions that are fundamental for stress response and metabolic adaptation. Moreover, therefore, profiling its activity serves as a fundamental strategy for exploring complex biological phenomena.
Application
Widely applicable for tracking peroxidase (POD) fluctuations across agricultural biotechnology, crop growth regulation, and physiological stress responses.
Key Features & Advantages
Stable Signal Output; Excellent Reproducibility; Stringent Quality Control
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
