The GlycoSens™ Transhydrogenase-2 (TH-2) Assay Kit offers a highly reliable and sensitive micro-volume spectrophotometric platform for quantifying transhydrogenase-2 (TH-2) across varied biological matrices. Designed for rapid operation and high precision, this assay ensures reproducible quantification with low sample volume requirements.
Transhydrogenase-2 (TH-2) catalyzes hydride transfer from NADPH to NAD+. Synthetic substrate analog 3-acetylpyridine adenine dinucleotide (APAD+) is reduced to APADH, which displays a unique optical absorbance peak at 375 nm. Activity is quantified by tracking OD increase at 375 nm.

Key Features & Advantages
High Specificity; Micro-Volume Optimization; Broad Sample Compatibility
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
