Product Description
The GlycoSens™ Trehalase (THL) Assay Kit utilizes a highly stable detection system tailored for accurate profiling of trehalase. It combines streamlined sample handling with superior signal-to-noise ratios to support dependable biochemical assessment in research applications.
Product Type
Trehalose Series
Target
THL
Kit Components
Reaction Buffer; Specific Substrate; Standard; Reaction Stop Solution
Sample Types
Tissues, other biological samples
Sample Volume
10 μL - 50 μL
Detection Principle
Target trehalase (THL) in samples undergoes specific enzymatic conversion or chromatic reaction, resulting in a distinct optical absorbance change monitored spectrophotometrically. The variation in absorbance intensity directly correlates with the concentration of target THL.
Detection Time
Within 1 hour
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Storage
Store at -20°C.
Shipping Conditions
Shipped with ice packs.
Target Information
Full Name
Trehalase
Alternate Names
Trehalase; THL
Application Notes
Background
Trehalase (THL) is an integral element required for robust cellular function and metabolism. This catalytic protein strictly regulates substrate turnover to meet the dynamic physiological needs of the cell. Consequently, consequently, robust measurement of this parameter is highly beneficial for comprehensive functional profiling.
Application
Tailored for accurate quantification of trehalase (THL) across cell biology, organelle bioenergetics, and intracellular signaling cascades.
Key Features & Advantages
Enhanced Sensitivity; Streamlined Workflow; Consistent Batch-to-Batch Performance
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
For Research Use Only.
