GlycoErase™ SIGLEC15 knockout CHO-K1 cell line is a CHO-K1 model lacking SIGLEC15 expression. SIGLEC15 regulates actin cytoskeleton organization, bone resorption, and osteoclast development, and is associated with plasma membrane complexes. Removal of SIGLEC15 in CHO-K1 provides a system to explore osteoclast biology, skeletal disease mechanisms, and cytoskeletal regulation, with applications in bone metabolism, therapeutic validation, and immune modulation.

Summary
This protein is predicted to regulate actin cytoskeleton organization, bone resorption, and osteoclast development. It is expected to be located in the membrane and to be part of a protein-containing complex, functioning actively in the plasma membrane.
