The GlycoSens™ Jasmonic Acid (JA) Assay Kit utilizes a highly stable detection system tailored for accurate profiling of jasmonic acid. It combines streamlined sample handling with superior signal-to-noise ratios to support dependable biochemical assessment in research applications.
Target jasmonic acid (JA) in samples undergoes specific enzymatic conversion or chromatic reaction, resulting in a distinct optical absorbance change monitored spectrophotometrically. The variation in absorbance intensity directly correlates with the concentration of target JA.
Detection Time
Within 1 hour
Detection Wavelength
254 nm
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Found widely across biological samples, jasmonic acid (JA) is crucial for maintaining systemic homeostasis. It participates directly in biosynthetic pathways, acting as a critical precursor for larger macromolecules. Furthermore, detailed analysis of this target empowers researchers to monitor disease progression or developmental stages effectively.
Application
Essential for monitoring jasmonic acid (JA) level shifts during molecular biochemistry, metabolic pathway flux analysis, and enzymology studies.
Key Features & Advantages
High-Resolution Quantification; Excellent Reproducibility; Stringent Quality Control
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
