Overview
Description
GlycoErase™ SIGLEC9 knockout HEK293T cell line is a human embryonic kidney-derived HEK293T line without SIGLEC9 expression. SIGLEC9 is predicted to bind sialic acids and monosaccharides, contribute to cell adhesion, and act in the negative regulation of inflammation and phagocytosis. Localized at the plasma membrane, SIGLEC9 functions as an inhibitory receptor. The knockout in the HEK293T background provides a transient expression model for investigating immune suppression, adhesion biology, and inflammation control, with applications in viral biology, drug discovery, and antibody development.
