The GlycoSens™ Acid Protease (ACP) Assay Kit features an optimized micro-volume detection system designed for sensitive measurement of acid protease (ACP) levels across diverse research samples. The assay components are ready-to-use, ensuring high analytical reproducibility with minimal sample requirements.
Quantification of acid protease (ACP) is established through a specific substrate-mediated reaction. Signal intensity recorded via microplate reader or spectrophotometer is proportionally calibrated against analytical standard curves.

Application Notes
Background
Acid protease (ACP) is recognized as a fundamental component in biological systems. It governs molecular turnover by catalyzing the cleavage of specific chemical bonds within its target substrates. As a result, consequently, robust measurement of this parameter is highly beneficial for comprehensive functional profiling.
Application
Essential for monitoring acid protease (ACP) level shifts during molecular biochemistry, metabolic pathway flux analysis, and enzymology studies.
Key Features & Advantages
Robust Assay Design; Easy-to-Follow Protocol; Versatile Application Range
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
