The GlycoSens™ Acid Protease (ACP) Assay Kit provides a robust, high-precision analytical assay platform engineered for quantification of target acid protease in varied biological matrices. Featuring a streamlined protocol, it delivers outstanding linearity and operational speed for routine biochemical assays.
The assay relies on the distinct spectroscopic optical characteristics of acid protease. Upon reaction with specialized chromogenic reagents, the resulting optical density shifts measured at target wavelengths directly reflect ACP content in the sample.

Application Notes
Background
Functioning at the core of various biological processes, acid protease (ACP) is a key subject of biochemical analysis. Its hydrolytic activity is essential for maintaining the balance of the cellular and extracellular matrix. Moreover, tracking its dynamics facilitates a deeper understanding of cellular responses to external stressors.
Application
Specifically engineered for evaluating acid protease (ACP) dynamics in plant physiology, stress adaptation signaling, and cellular homeostasis research.
Key Features & Advantages
Linear Dynamic Range; Excellent Reproducibility; Ready-to-Use Reagents
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
