Specifications
Product Description
The GlycoSens™ Transhydrogenase-1 (TH-1) Assay Kit provides an advanced, quantitative spectrophotometric method for determining TH-1 in biological specimens. Featuring superior kinetic linearity and high throughput compatibility, it facilitates accurate biochemical profiling.
Product Type
Oxidative Phosphorylation Series
Target
TH-1
Kit Components
Reaction Buffer; Specific Substrate; Standard; Reaction Stop Solution
Sample Types
Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, biological fluids
Sample Volume
10 μL - 50 μL
Detection Principle
TH-1 catalyzes hydride transfer from NADH to NADP+. Synthetic analog 3-acetylpyridine adenine dinucleotide phosphate (APADP+) replaces NADP+ and is reduced to APADPH, which absorbs specifically at 375 nm. Activity is calculated by monitoring absorbance accumulation rate at 375 nm.
Detection Time
Within 1 hour
Detection Wavelength
375 nm
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Storage
Store at -20°C.
Shipping Conditions
Shipped with ice packs.
Target Information
Full Name
Transhydrogenase-1
Alternate Names
Transhydrogenase-1; TH-1; Transhydrogenase-1 Standard
Application Notes
Background
Known for its specific biological characteristics, transhydrogenase-1 (TH-1) provides deep insights into cellular dynamics. It actively circulates within the biological matrix, acting as a crucial building block or signaling molecule. As a result, detailed analysis of this target empowers researchers to monitor disease progression or developmental stages effectively.
Application
Widely applicable for tracking transhydrogenase-1 (TH-1) fluctuations across cellular respiration studies, electron transport dynamics, and metabolic flux profiling.
Key Features & Advantages
Stable Signal Output; Broad Sample Compatibility; Minimized Interference
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
For Research Use Only.
