Overview
Description
GlycoErase™ SIGLEC14 knockout CHO-K1 cell line is a CHO-K1 model with SIGLEC14 expression removed. SIGLEC14 is predicted to mediate sialic acid binding and cell adhesion, and to localize to granule membranes and the plasma membrane. The knockout provides a tool to examine adhesion biology, innate immune functions, and membrane receptor activity, with applications in glycobiology, immunology, and drug discovery.
