Full Name
Pepsin
Alternate Names
Protease; Pepsin
Application Notes
Background
Found widely across biological samples, pepsin is crucial for maintaining systemic homeostasis. It actively circulates within the biological matrix, acting as a crucial building block or signaling molecule. Moreover, consequently, robust measurement of this parameter is highly beneficial for comprehensive functional profiling.
Application
Ideal for investigating pepsin activity and metabolic turnover during natural product research, growth factor signaling, and developmental morphogenesis studies.
Key Features & Advantages
Superior Accuracy; Low Background Noise; Stable Signal Output
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
