| Description | GlycoErase™ SIGLEC2 knockout A549 cell line is a human lung epithelial cancer cell line in which SIGLEC2 expression has been eliminated. SIGLEC2 functions as a sialic acid-binding adhesion molecule involved in CD4 receptor interactions, B-cell activation, regulation of receptor signaling, and endocytosis, and it is also implicated in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma. The loss of SIGLEC2 in the A549 background creates a distinctive model for investigating immune receptor pathways, endosomal trafficking, and B-cell-related disease mechanisms, and provides a useful platform for preclinical drug evaluation and antibody research. |
