Description GlycoErase™ SIGLEC8 knockout CHO-K1 cell line is a Chinese hamster ovary cell line lacking SIGLEC8 expression. SIGLEC8, a member of the CD33-related subgroup, contains conserved inhibitory motifs such as ITIM and SAP-binding sequences, mediating inhibitory immune signaling. The absence of SIGLEC8 in CHO-K1 provides a model to study immune checkpoint pathways, inhibitory signaling cascades, and cell-cell regulation, with applications in immunology, biologics design, and translational medicine.
