GlycoErase™ SIGLEC8 Knockout CHO-K1 Cell Line

GlycoErase™ SIGLEC8 knockout CHO-K1 cell line is a Chinese hamster ovary cell line lacking SIGLEC8 expression. SIGLEC8, a member of the CD33-related subgroup, contains conserved inhibitory motifs such as ITIM and SAP-binding sequences, mediating inhibitory immune signaling. The absence of SIGLEC8 in CHO-K1 provides a model to study immune checkpoint pathways, inhibitory signaling cascades, and cell-cell regulation, with applications in immunology, biologics design, and translational medicine.

SIGLEC8, a member of the CD33-like subgroup, is localized to the 19q13.3-q13.4 region and features two conserved cytoplasmic motifs: an immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motif (ITIM) and a SLAM-like motif that interacts with the SLAM-associated protein (SAP).
