Product Description
The GlycoSens™ Acetylcholine (ACH) Assay Kit utilizes a highly stable detection system tailored for accurate profiling of acetylcholine. It combines streamlined sample handling with superior signal-to-noise ratios to support dependable biochemical assessment in research applications.
Product Type
Fatty Acid Series
Target
ACH
Kit Components
Extraction Buffer; Reaction Reagent A; Reaction Reagent B; Standard
Sample Types
Tissues, other biological samples
Sample Volume
5 μL - 20 μL
Detection Principle
Target acetylcholine (ACH) in samples undergoes specific enzymatic conversion or chromatic reaction, resulting in a distinct optical absorbance change monitored spectrophotometrically. The variation in absorbance intensity directly correlates with the concentration of target ACH.
Detection Time
Within 45 minutes
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Storage
Store at -20°C.
Shipping Conditions
Shipped with ice packs.
Target Information
Full Name
Acetylcholine
Alternate Names
Acetylcholine; ACH
Application Notes
Background
Functioning at the core of various biological processes, acetylcholine (ACH) is a key subject of biochemical analysis. By serving as a metabolic node, it integrates diverse biochemical inputs into unified physiological responses. Moreover, consequently, robust measurement of this parameter is highly beneficial for comprehensive functional profiling.
Application
Ideal for investigating acetylcholine (ACH) activity and metabolic turnover during natural product research, growth factor signaling, and developmental morphogenesis studies.
Key Features & Advantages
Enhanced Sensitivity; Streamlined Workflow; Consistent Batch-to-Batch Performance
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.

2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.

3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
For Research Use Only.
