The GlycoSens™ Cellulase (CL) Assay Kit provides a robust, high-precision analytical assay platform engineered for quantification of target cellulase in varied biological matrices. Featuring a streamlined protocol, it delivers outstanding linearity and operational speed for routine biochemical assays.
Product Type
Oxidation and Antioxidant Series
Target
CL
Kit Components
Reaction Buffer; Specific Substrate; Standard; Reaction Stop Solution
The assay relies on the distinct spectroscopic optical characteristics of cellulase. Upon reaction with specialized chromogenic reagents, the resulting optical density shifts measured at target wavelengths directly reflect CL content in the sample.
Detection Time
Within 1 hour
Detection Wavelength
550 nm
Required Equipment & Materials (Self-provided by User)
Visible Spectrophotometer or Microplate Reader, glass/quartz cuvettes, microcentrifuge, water bath/incubator, adjustable micropipettes, double-distilled water.
Cellulase (CL) is recognized as a fundamental component in biological systems. This catalytic protein strictly regulates substrate turnover to meet the dynamic physiological needs of the cell. As a result, consequently, robust measurement of this parameter is highly beneficial for comprehensive functional profiling.
Application
Specifically engineered for evaluating cellulase (CL) dynamics in plant physiology, stress adaptation signaling, and cellular homeostasis research.
Key Features & Advantages
High Specificity; Broad Sample Compatibility; Stringent Quality Control
Operating Instructions
1. Pre-Centrifugation of Vials: Prior to opening any reagent vials, perform a brief centrifugation to collect all powder or liquids at the bottom of the tubes.
2. Reagent Equilibration & Mixing: Allow all kit reagents and buffers to equilibrate to room temperature (25 °C) before initiating the assay.
3. Sample Storage: If samples are not assayed immediately, please store at -80 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
