The quantitative anti-nuclear antibody (ANA) screen ELISA kit detects IgG antibodies against nuclear and cytoplasmic antigens in human serum by ELISA. Specific antigens are coated on microwell strips. If antibodies are present in the sample, they bind to the antigens and are detected by secondary antibodies labeled with horseradish peroxidase. The signal intensity of the reaction product is proportional to the antibody activity in the sample.
