PathSpecific™ ACE Assay Kit (Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme), Fluorometric (CAT#: ZL-1122-WR4)

Overview
DescriptionThe kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of Angiotensin I Converting Enzyme (ACE1) concentrations in biological samples, such as serum, plasma, and tissue homogenates.
FeaturesReady-used for enzyme activity assay.
ApplicationsKit is used to study the ACE1 protease in biological samples.
Application NotesThe kit is suitable for evaluating the enzymatic activity of both natural and purified ACE1.
Molecular Mechanism of ActionThe kit is designed to detect and quantify ACE1 enzyme activity through the cleavage of a chemically synthesized o-aminobenzoyl peptide substrate. The substrate is conjugated to a fluorophore, which is released as a result of the enzyme's cleavage activity. The level of fluorescent signal is directly proportional to the amount of enzyme activity present in the sample, allowing for sensitive and accurate quantification.
