PathSpecific™ Cathepsin G Activity Assay Kit, Colorimetric (CAT#: ZL-1122-WR17)
| Overview | |
|---|---|
| Description | The kit can be used to quantitatively measure the cathepsin G activity in cell lysate, serum, and tissue lysate. |
| Features | Ready-used for enzyme activity assay. |
| Applications | Kit is used to study the Cathepsin G protease in biological samples. |
| Application Notes | The kit provides a highly sensitive and accurate assay for quantifying the activity of Cathepsin K in biological samples. |
| Molecular Mechanism of Action | The assay is based on the cleavage of a synthetic substrate by Cathepsin G, resulting in the release of a dye group known as p-NA (4-Nitroaniline). The presence of Cathepsin G can be detected by measuring the absorbance of the p-NA at 405 nm. In the presence of a Cathepsin G specific inhibitor, the cleavage of the substrate and the release of p-NA will be halted. |
