PathSpecific™ Human Cathepsin V ELISA Kit (CAT#: ZL-1122-WR32)

Overview
DescriptionThe kit can be employed to quantify cathepsin V levels in serum, plasma, and other biological fluids.
FeaturesReady-used for quantative assay.
ApplicationsKit is used to study the Cathepsin V protease in biological samples.
Application NotesThe kit makes it possible to quantitatively measure the amounts of human CTSL2 in serum plasma and other biological fluids in vitro.
Molecular Mechanism of ActionThe assay functions by the sample interacting with a cathepsin V-specific antibody. A biotin-labeled detection antibody is subsequently added, and then an Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is introduced. The presence of cathepsin V is confirmed by a color change in the microplate wells, triggered by the successful binding of these elements.
