| Target/Description | The assay begins with the incubation of S-adenosylmethionine, the assay buffer, G9a enzyme, and an inhibitor for one hour on a histone-precoated plate. Subsequently, a primary antibody specific to Lys(Me) is added. A chemiluminescent HRP substrate is then introduced, leading to a luminescence signal that mirrors the activity level of G9a. |
