PathSpecific™ Granzyme B/Granzyme-2 Activity Assay Kit, Fluorometric (CAT#: ZL-0124-WR1)
| Overview | |
|---|---|
| Description | This kit is designed to detect the activity of active human Granzyme B enzyme using a fluorometric method. It measures the hydrolysis of a specific substrate and detects the release of a fluorescent group at Ex/Em = 490/520 nm. |
| Features | Ready-used for enzyme activity assay. |
| Applications | Kit is used to study the Granzyme B protease in biological samples. |
| Application Notes | A rapid, reliable, and sensitive assay kit for detecting Granzyme B activity in various biological samples. |
| Research Areas | Kinase Drug Discovery; Signal Pathway; |
| Specification | |
|---|---|
| Size | 100 tests |
| Components | 50 µL 5-FAM/QXL-520 granzyme B substrate 10 µL 5-FAM, fluorescence reference standard 10 µL Recombinant human granzyme B 20 mL 2X Assay Buffer 10 µL Inhibitor |
| Target | Granzyme B |
| Target/Description | Upon target cell contact, Granzyme B is directionally exocytosed and enters the target cell with the help of perforin. Granzyme B then selectively cleaves and activates pro-caspases, triggering apoptosis in the target cell. |
| Format | Supplied with a fluorometric assay kit. |
| Storage | Store all kit components at -20°C, except for recombinant human granzyme B. Store recombinant human granzyme B at -80°C. Aliquot as needed to avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Store all kit components at -20°C, except for Component C. Store Component C at -80°C. Aliquot as needed to avoid freeze-thaw cycles. Protect 5-FAM/QXL -520 granzyme B substrate and 5-FAM, fluorescence reference standard from light and moisture. 2X Assay Buffer can be stored at room temperature for convenience. |
| Handling | Please store the kit according to the storage instructions in the kit's manual upon receipt. |
