| Target/Description | MLL1 enzyme complex and S-adenosylmethionine are added to a plate pre-coated with histone H3 peptide substrate and incubated with or without a test compound. A primary antibody and an HRP-labeled secondary antibody are then sequentially added. After adding the HRP substrate, chemiluminescence is produced and measured using a chemiluminescence reader. The signal correlates with the enzymatic activity of the MLL1/WARD complex. The kit's user-friendly format allows for quick and easy detection of methyltransferase activity in just three simple steps on a microtiter plate. |
