Application NotesThis sandwich kit is designed for the precise quantification of Human Serine/threonine-protein phosphatase PP1-alpha catalytic subunit (also referred to as PPP1CA) in various biological samples, including serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, Ascites, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids.
Molecular Mechanism of ActionAfter being introduced to the sample, PP1A binds to the antibodies coated on the wells. Next, biotinylated Human PP1A Antibody is introduced to the sample, where it binds to PP1A. Subsequently, the biotinylated PP1A antibody binds to streptavidin-HRP. During a washing step following incubation, unbound streptavidin-HRP is removed. Following the addition of the substrate solution, color changes in accordance with the concentration of human PP1A. At 450 nm, absorbance is measured after the addition of an acidic stop solution to halt the process.
