Initially, S-adenosylmethionine is combined with a sample containing assay buffer and the methyltransferase enzyme for one hour. Subsequently, the primary antibody is introduced, followed by treating the plate with an HRP-labeled secondary antibody. The addition of the HRP substrate generates chemiluminescence, which can be quantified using a chemiluminescence reader, enabling precise measurement of PRMT6 activity. |
