| Target | SETD2 |
| Target/Description | The SETD2 assay kit works in a simple three-step process for detecting methyltransferase activity. This kit includes a highly specific antibody recognizing the methylated K36 residue of Histone H3. The first step involves incubating S-adenosylmethionine with a sample containing both assay buffer and methyltransferase enzyme. Afterwards, the primary antibody is added and finally, the plate is treated with HRP-labeled secondary antibody and an HRP substrate. This results in chemiluminescence that can be collected and measured using a chemiluminescence reader. |
