| Target/Description | The assay's efficacy in measuring UCHL1 activity in presence of inhibitors involves preincubating the enzyme with or without the test inhibitor before initiating the reaction with Ub-AMC as the substrate. Functional validation of the assay was achieved using UbAldehyde, a strong inhibitor known to target various subfamilies of Deubiquitinating Enzymes (DUBs) such as UCHs, USPs, OTU, and MJD proteases. |
