ComponentsThis kit includes MDA Standard, Thiobarbituric Acid (TBA), SDS Lysis Solution, TBA Acid Diluent, Sodium Hydroxide Solution, and BHT Solution.
Target/DescriptionThe unknown MDA-containing samples or MDA standards are initially treated with TBA at 95°C. Following a short incubation period, the samples and standards can be measured either using spectrophotometry or fluorometry. The level of MDA content in the unknown samples is ascertained by comparing them to the established MDA standard curve.
