Target/DescriptionAfter a chemical reaction, the reduction of oxidized glutathione (GSSG) to reduced glutathione (GSH) is facilitated by Glutathione Reductase in the presence of NADPH. Subsequently, a chromogen interacts with the thiol group of GSH, generating a colored compound that can be measured through absorbance at 405 nm.
